Ibiza has a short list of companies, so prices for similar small cars vary widely. All six are handed over at the airport, and each needs a credit card.

Ibiza Airport carsEvery car under half the usual rate here needs a credit card and holds at least €1,400. The usual rate is over €35 a day.
These class rates come from the Ibiza Airport search, which lists more cars than the town search.
Ibiza offers are handed over at the airport. The voucher names the company, its meeting point and its phone number.
Your company waits at the meeting point printed on the voucher rather than at a terminal desk. Save its number before the flight.
Give the time your plane actually lands. A night pickup is ruled out on some cars and costs extra on others, and the price shows it.
Before leaving, go round the bodywork with the company and agree any scratches, the fuel gauge and the odometer reading.
Every Ibiza town car is handed over at the airport, so this page and car rental at Ibiza Airport start in the same place; the airport search lists more cars, automatics included.
Most Ibiza cars ask for a credit card in the main driver’s name, and every one holds a deposit. Both rules show on the car before you pay.
Bring the card itself: a physical, embossed card in the main driver’s name, shown at the handover. One in another person’s name will not do.
Each Ibiza car holds a deposit of its own; on the mainland, some Alicante Airport cars are offered as car rental in Spain with no deposit.
Only two Ibiza cars skip the credit card: a Fiat 500 and a Peugeot 208, each dearer than the card versions above. More cars in Spain that need no credit card are listed in other cities.
You pay any parking charges, tolls and fines while you have the car. Leave the car where signs allow it.
From Ibiza Town: Santa Eulària, about 25 min for 15.9 km; Sant Antoni, about 20 min for 15.0 km; Ibiza Airport, about 15 min for 8.0 km; Portinatx, about 35 min for 29.0 km; Cala Comte, about 40 min for 26.3 km; Cala d’Hort, about 35 min for 21.3 km.
Drive times run from Ibiza Town on empty roads; summer traffic and stops add more.
Traffic drives on the right. In summer, wildfires can affect the islands, so follow any road closures.
In towns 50, 30 or 20 km/h depending on the street; outside towns 90, and 120 on motorways, unless signs say otherwise.
The limit is 0.25 mg/l in breath, or 0.15 for drivers with less than two years’ experience. Police test at the roadside.
Spanish law requires a connected V-16 light instead of triangles, plus a reflective vest. Check both at the handover.
Do not hold a phone while driving, even when stopped at the roadside. Earpieces are banned too.
Call 112 for any emergency on the island.
Ibiza cars go back where you collected them. The rental terms say nothing about ferry trips, so ask the company before you book one.
Ibiza cars go back to the airport handover point unless your offer says otherwise. Check the return details on the voucher.
For a dawn flight, check whether the car can be returned at that hour. Some cars cannot, and some add a charge.
Ring the company before the return if you are running late, using the number given on your voucher.
Each bar is the typical day rate for a week’s hire from the 15th. The airport search lists more cars for later months.
Week-long rentals from the 15th, November 2026 to October 2027. N/A: no cars on offer yet for that month.
Ibiza town cars are small four and five-seaters with manual gearboxes. Add a second driver at booking if you will share the driving.
Small cars are easy to park in busy towns, but check that your cases fit in the boot before you book.
A second driver is a priced extra on some Ibiza cars. Add them before pickup so they are allowed to drive.
Check whether your car lists a child seat. If it does not, choose another car or bring a suitable seat.
The town search lists manual cars only, while the Ibiza Airport search also has automatics. Use that one if you only drive an automatic.
Each car shows its cover levels and the excess under each one. A higher level may also lower the deposit.
Standard exclusions. Standard cover does not pay for damage to the wheels, undercarriage, windscreen or interior.
Accidents. Tell the company straight away and get a police report unless it agrees otherwise. Without both, the cover no longer applies.
Misuse. Cover is void after vandalism, neglect or deliberate damage.
Higher levels. Extra damage cover costs more per day but can lower the excess and the deposit.
Bring your original national licence with Latin-script details, valid to the end of the rental. No copies or digital versions.
A licence valid only in its home country should come with an International Driving Permit, shown when the company asks.
Age and licence years are set on each car and can differ between similar models. The company may refuse a driver below them.
Bring the tank back to its pickup level. Ask the company in advance if you need it for extra days.
The rental terms say nothing about ferry trips between the islands. Ask the rental company before you book if you plan one.
Travel outside Spain needs the company told in advance so it can prepare documents. Check with it first rather than assuming any trip is allowed.
Ibiza cars come with a cancellation option up to 24 hours before pickup. Check that it still shows on the car you book.
The deadline is a week before pickup (30 days for luxury cars and convertibles); later, or after a no-show, the advance is lost.
Email support with the voucher attached. The advance comes back within 14 days, less a 6% payment fee.
Each 24 hours counts as a day, and part of a day is charged in full.

The company must provide one of the same or a higher class, on the same terms and price.
Within 24 hours of confirmation either side can cancel, and the advance comes back less the payment fee.
Yes. It must work, with the country code, from the day before pickup to the end of the rental.
Compare the airport cars, check the card and deposit rules, then reserve with a 15 to 20% advance.
