A no-deposit car has no deposit, but you still pay the balance and follow the rental rules.

Beyond Vlorë, Tirana Airport is about 3 hours from the Llogara Pass, 3 h 15 min from Dhërmi and 3 h 45 min from Himarë: from central Tirana the times are about the same.
Some Vlorë cars have a daily kilometre limit and some are unlimited. Check yours against your whole trip, including the drive back and any mountain detour.
Arrange parking separately from delivery. A car brought to your Vlorë address does not come with a space, and parking charges are yours to pay.

The road through Radhimë and Orikum links Vlorë with the southern coast. For Dhërmi, take the Llogara Tunnel Road, then check the last stretch to your accommodation.
Driving up to Llogara Pass is a separate trip from the road to Dhërmi. The last 6.9 km to the pass are on the old mountain road.
From Dhërmi to Himarë, allow about thirty-five minutes for roughly seventeen kilometres on the SH8 and town streets.
Unpaved tracks down to beaches are not allowed, even if your sat nav shows one as the last part of the route.
Drive times do not include traffic or stops, so leave extra time for a meal, a village visit or finding your accommodation. Park on a paved road and walk the rest.
The pass road needs more care than the coast road. Drive times do not allow for snow or winter closures; check conditions on the day and allow time to come back.
For a longer tour, the Berat to Përmet route through Osumi Canyon and the SH74, and the Memaliaj to Berat road through Martallozi, are among the banned routes in Albania, and extra cover does not change that.
You can rent from Tirana and return in Himarë at a city address. Good for a trip through Vlorë that carries on south.
