Choose City delivery and enter your Shkodër hotel, guesthouse or apartment address. The car comes to you; this is not an airport booking.
Give your full address and a practical meeting point. Check the company can get to it.
Use your confirmation to contact the company and check the time. The price includes the delivery charge.
Give a number that works abroad, from the day before until return. Moving hotel? Agree a new time first.
Choose Tirana Airport pickup if you want to drive north straight after landing. At the Shkodër handover, note any marks and the fuel level with the company.
Some Shkodër cars need no deposit, and some delivered cars need no credit card. Others take a cash deposit; check it separately from the balance.
Security for the vehicle. A cash deposit is still a deposit, even with no card involved. Check whether your car needs one and how you can pay it.
Payment for the hire. The rental balance has its own payment methods. A cash deposit does not mean every method works for the balance, so check both.
Pay 15 to 20% in advance to book and the rest to the company when the car arrives. Budget for any deposit separately; a no-deposit car still has the balance to pay.
If a credit card is needed, the main driver brings the physical embossed card in their own name. A debit card works only if your booking and voucher accept it, and it must be embossed with your name.
Keep your confirmed payment terms with your delivery details.
All six drives start at Tirana Airport. If your car is delivered in Shkodër, your trips start from there instead.

From Shkodër, Theth is 73.2 kilometres, about 2 hours and 15 minutes. Picking up the car at the airport takes extra time before the drive north.
The border crossings are about two hours (Muriqan-Sukobin, towards Ulcinj) and 2 h 45 min (Hani i Hotit) from Tirana Airport, plus any border queue.
Some Shkodër cars have no daily kilometre limit and some do. Check yours fits your plans, including the drive back to the return address.
Agree where the car is handed over and where it can stay. Delivery does not include parking; parking charges and fines are yours to pay.
If you leave the car parked between trips, check the rules for the whole time, especially on private property. Parking costs are separate from the rental and the deposit.
On the way to Theth, stop only on allowed roads. A handy-looking track is not allowed, even in a car with more ground clearance.
On the coast, unpaved beach tracks are not allowed either. Park on a paved road and walk the rest; cover does not change this or pay for parking.
From Shkodër, the paved SH21 to Theth village is allowed. Do not carry on over the mountains to Valbona; rental cars are banned there.
Leave the SH1 north of Shkodër and take the paved SH21 to Theth. The drive time ends at the village; the last lane to your accommodation may not be paved.
The mountain road from Theth to Valbona is not allowed, even in an SUV. Ignore shortcuts past the village and stay on paved public roads.
Lake Koman is also off limits for rental cars, including for boat trips. Roadworks do not change this, and extra cover does not allow it.
Lura National Park and Korab Mountain are off limits too, as are Tomorri Mountain National Park, Qafë-Shtamë Nature Park and some rough routes. Read the rules before a long tour.
Theth is a mountain drive even on the paved road. The drive time does not allow for snow, closures or stops. From December to February heavy snow can disrupt travel in the mountains, and flooding is most likely in northern Albania.
At night, roads outside towns are unlit and town lights can fail. Watch for potholes, unmarked roadworks and unlit vehicles, and think twice about a mountain trip after a late delivery.
Some Shkodër rentals can end in Tirana or Durrës. Choose the return town and place before you book; any one-way charge is in the price.

Choose Tirana Airport as the return place and confirm the return time.
A Montenegro trip does not let you return the car there, and Tirana to Podgorica returns are not offered. Return the car in Albania with the same fuel and allow time for the check. Missing fuel and cleaning are charged; extra fuel is not refunded.
Week-long Shkodër rentals from the fifteenth of each month, mid-November 2026 to mid-October 2027. N/A means no price was available.
Typical daily prices for delivery in Shkodër. Your car, dates and extras set your price.
Use the chart to pick when to go, then price the car and delivery you need. An automatic, a large car and a small manual can cost different amounts in the same month.
For months marked N/A, check prices for your dates. It does not mean you cannot rent a car then.
A cheaper month is not always a good time for mountain trips, especially in winter. Check the road as well as the price.
Shkodër delivery offers manual and automatic cars and some with seven or more seats. Choose seats and gearbox, then check child seats and extra drivers.
Both gearboxes are available. Check the gearbox, seats and luggage space with everyone on board before you choose.
Some delivered cars offer baby seats, boosters, child seats and an extra driver. Add what you need and check every driver qualifies.
Book child seats with the car. Choices differ between cars, so check again if you change your car.
Each driver needs the age and experience that car requires. Add other drivers as an extra before they drive.
Every booking includes Minimum cover (TPL). Compare the higher levels on your car: what you still pay, what is excluded and which roads are allowed.
Not covered. Interior, wheels, windscreen and underside damage are excluded. Deliberate damage, vandalism, neglect and banned roads such as Theth to Valbona are not covered.
Cover choices. Some delivered cars offer only Minimum and Full Coverage Plus. Plus means nothing to pay for accident damage, within its terms.
Deposit and excess. On some cars the deposit goes with Plus; others keep it. Check the excess, and whether theft cover is an extra.
After an accident. Call the company straight away and get a police report unless it says otherwise. If you skip this, your cover is cancelled and you pay in full.
Your own car insurance at home does not replace the rental cover levels; fuel, parking, tolls and fines are still yours to pay.
Check the car’s minimum driver age and experience before you book; the Albania terms explain the rules, including for delivered cars.
Bring your original national licence, in Latin script and valid until the rental ends. Digital versions and photocopies are not accepted.
If your licence is only valid at home, an International Driving Permit is strongly advised. Have it ready to show at pickup.
Carry the warning triangle and first-aid kit.
Only plan a cross-border trip if your car allows it. Tell the company your destination early so it can arrange the papers.
The two northern crossings are on the SH41 towards Muriqan-Sukobin and the SH1 towards Hani i Hotit. Permission and cover depend on the country and the car; a normal booking is not enough.
Some delivered cars have no Montenegro extra, and top cover is not border permission.
Cancel at least seven days before pickup, or thirty days for luxury cars and convertibles. With the cancellation option, it is 24 hours before.
Email to cancel and attach your voucher. Refunds take up to fourteen days, back to the account you paid from; 6% is kept for payment fees.
You lose the advance for late changes or cancellation, or if you miss pickup without telling the company. To change a booking, cancel it and book again.
Contact the company before your rental ends to arrange it. Staying longer at your guesthouse does not extend the rental on its own.
No. The minimum is 24 hours, so a few hours costs a full day. Pick up one morning and return the next afternoon, and you pay for two days.
Yes, if it is small and stays in its carrier for the whole drive.
If a breakdown or force majeure stops the company supplying your car, it must give you one of the same class or better, at the same price and terms.
Yes. Either side can cancel within a day of confirmation and advance payment, with notice before pickup. The payment-service fee is still deducted from the refund.
