These cars have no delivery fee and need no credit card. Most still take a deposit, so check each card and its cover.

City delivery brings the car to your Rethymno address. Give your accommodation details and agree a meeting point; there is no desk at the property.
Give your full hotel, apartment or villa address, mention any access problems and agree a handover spot.
These featured Rethymno cars deliver free; other offers may charge. Compare the full price for your address.
Keep the number you booked with reachable, country code included, from the day before delivery until you return the car.
Want the car from landing? Compare Chania Airport or Heraklion Airport pickup. Companies delivering in Rethymno may not be based in town. Agree your return address, and ask before changing the drop-off.
It can; most featured cars need no credit card but still take a deposit. Other Rethymno offers mix payment and deposit rules differently.
Starting deposits on the featured cars are €695 or €995, and one car has none. Other deliveries can differ. No credit card does not always mean cash is accepted; check how to pay and when any deposit is returned.
If a credit card is required, the main renter must show their own physical card with embossed details. Debit cards work only where the offer allows them, under the same rules.
Pay a 15% to 20% advance online and the rest on delivery; any deposit is extra. Rules differ between Crete cars without a credit card and Crete no-deposit cars.
Drive times from Chania Airport, including to the Fortezza in Rethymno. Allow extra for pickup and the last stretch to your hotel.

The Fortezza is 78.4 kilometres from Chania Airport and 83.6 kilometres from Heraklion Airport, about ninety minutes either way on clear roads. Your hotel may be farther along the coast.
Both drives use the north-coast road, where traffic, stops and roadworks add time. Airport pickup also takes time before you set off, so compare flights and pickup together. Further west, car rental in Chania offers delivery or Chania Airport pickup.
If the car is delivered after your first day, arrange the airport transfer separately and set a realistic delivery time. Tell the company if your plans change.
Rethymno’s repark system uses the ParkAlot app to choose a numbered space and start your stay, or pay at a REPARK kiosk or shop.
The first thirty minutes are free, but you still have to register the stay. Choose the right bay and time, even for a short stop.
At a kiosk or shop with the REPARK sign, give the space number, the car’s plate and how long you will stay. Use the plate of the car you actually received.
The app maps spaces but cannot reserve one, and repark does not cover every car park. Follow the Rethymno parking instructions and the signs; parking fees and fines are yours to pay.
Follow the signed route, not a planned opening, and allow extra time when traffic or roadworks slow you down near Rethymno.
The safety works from Rethymno to Geropotamos are finished. Where the road is wide enough, there are dividing bollards and alternating overtaking lanes.
Petres to Atsipopoulo is part of the safety works, and a new Rethymno bypass is planned with the motorway. Do not assume a new road is open.
Follow the lane markings and signs. Overtaking lanes switch direction along the road, so do not expect one all the way.
The new motorway is expected to have tolls once built. Tolls are not in your rental price, so budget for them separately.
Until new sections open, plan around today’s roads.
Returning for a flight? Allow time for the drive, refuelling, the car return and getting to departures, not just the clear-road time.
Yes, some address rentals can end at Heraklion or Chania Airport. Choose the airport return when you search and follow the company’s return instructions.

The two airports can have different one-way prices; compare both totals.
Some cars can also start at either airport, or a Heraklion or Chania office or address, and end in Rethymno. Check the pairing you need. Drive times to the Fortezza are a guide; allow time for the car check and ask before changing your drop-off.
Lowest daily prices for a week’s delivery hire starting on the fifteenth of each month, November 2026 to October 2027.
Enter your own dates and address for the full price.
Delivery charges vary by company and car. The featured cars have none, but other offers add one, so compare full prices.
You pay for at least one day. Picking up at 09:00 and returning at 15:00 the next day counts as two days. Ask the company before you extend.
The chart is a planning guide, not a quote. Car availability, extras, cover and an airport return can all change your choice.
The featured cars offer child seats and an extra driver. Book the equipment before delivery, and make sure every driver is approved.
Choose the right seat for each child in your Rethymno party. Ask how it is supplied and check it before you set off.
Any extra driver must be on the rental agreement before driving, and must meet the car’s minimum age and licence rules.
Only small pets may travel, kept in a carrier for the whole trip. Allow room for the carrier with your passengers and bags.
Check the boot space with the seats in use. Include any pushchair and child seats before you leave the property.
Upgrading does not always remove the deposit. On most featured cars the deposit and damage charge stay the same; one includes top cover with neither.
Upgrades may not lower the figures. On some featured cars, Basic and Full Coverage both keep a €695 deposit and a €695 damage charge.
Higher deposits too. Others keep €995 as both deposit and damage charge under Basic and Full. None of these offers a Plus tier.
Top cover on some cars. Some delivered cars include Full Coverage Plus at no extra cost, with no deposit and nothing to pay for covered damage.
What is not covered. Standard cover excludes the wheels, windscreen, underside and interior. Deliberate vandalism and neglect make it invalid, and road and ferry rules still apply.
If something happens, tell the company straight away. You need a police report unless they agree otherwise; if you skip this, you pay the full cost despite your rental cover.
Bring originals valid for the whole hire. An International Driving Permit is recommended, and you can be refused without the required documents.
Bring your original licence; copies and digital versions are not accepted.
Have the physical payment card your offer requires, as well as your driving documents.
Age and licence rules for Crete rentals can differ between similar cars, so check yours before the delivery.
Seat belts and child seats are required, and phones must be hands-free. Check the fire extinguisher, warning triangle and first-aid kit at pickup.
Ask customer support to arrange any ferry trip with the car before you book. The car cannot cross Greece’s borders, even with ferry permission.
Get ferry permission before you book the car, then check the sailing. A ferry ticket or a port meeting does not let you board with the car.
Drive on paved public roads only; the unpaved road to Balos is not allowed, even in an SUV. An airport return within Crete is not permission to take the car off the island; the rental terms set the limits.
Standard bookings need seven days’ notice to cancel, or thirty days for luxury cars and convertibles. With the cancellation option, it is twenty-four hours.
Email the voucher with your cancellation request. Eligible refunds are paid within fourteen days, and 6% of the advance is kept for processing.
You lose the advance if you cancel or change late, or miss pickup without arranging it. To change a booking, cancel it and book again.
No, these offers are delivered to your address. Enter your accommodation and agree the exact meeting spot with the company.
