Cheap car rentals with Agios Nikolaos delivery

The six lowest prices, all for manual cars. They include delivery and collection at your address, with Full Coverage and no deposit.

Choose a size and transmission for eastern Crete

Can the car be delivered to an Agios Nikolaos hotel?

Yes, these rentals start with delivery to an agreed address. Give the company your property details and agree where to meet.

Delivered to you

Give your full address and the entrance to meet at, especially if the property has several buildings.

Phone contact

Save the company’s number and keep your booking phone on. Call ahead if you are running late.

Delivery price

Example prices include delivery and collection at the stated times. Another address or time can change the price.

Delivery does not include your transfer from the airport. If you want the car as soon as you land, choose car hire at Heraklion Airport instead.

Put the country code on your phone number and answer it from the day before pickup until the car is back. At handover, check the condition, fuel and any extras you booked.

Do you need a deposit or credit card to rent a car?

The six featured cars have no deposit and need no credit card. Other cars in Agios Nikolaos can differ, so check the car you choose.

Booking online takes 15 to 20%; the company is paid the rest at pickup, by a method it accepts. With no deposit, you still pay the hire balance and any extras.

A required credit card must be the main driver’s own physical card, with the details embossed. Debit is accepted only where the booking and voucher say so.

If you choose a car with a deposit, check how and when you get it back. A cash deposit is not always returned straight away.

How far is Agios Nikolaos from Heraklion Airport?

From Heraklion Airport to the town is 62.4 kilometres, about seventy-five minutes on clear roads. All six drives below start at the airport.

The drive mainly follows the north-coast road (A90) and ends in the town, not at your hotel. Add time for the last stretch to your address.

From Chania Airport it is much further: 218.7 kilometres, about four hours on clear roads. Compare the whole journey when choosing between delivery and airport pickup.

Plaka, the village opposite Spinalonga, is 66.4 kilometres from Heraklion Airport, about an hour and fifteen minutes. Elounda is about the same, at 66.8 kilometres. For an airport return, allow extra time for fuel, unloading and the car check.

Town access, parking and the north-coast approach

Check parking with your hotel before delivery. A handy meeting point does not always come with a space to keep the car.

  • Ask your hotel which entrance and parking you can use, and whether you need to arrange access before you arrive.
  • Follow the signs where you park, including limits on stopping to load. Parking charges and fines are yours to pay, even on a no-deposit booking.

Roadworks, traffic or weather can slow your drive. Follow the open route and any temporary signs. If you might miss your return time, call the company; a late drive does not extend your hire.

For a trip inland, check current road conditions before you leave the coast.

Driving rules for the delivered rental

Stay on paved public roads and follow the signs. Your car size and cover do not allow unpaved shortcuts or restricted areas.

Keep to permitted roads

An SUV has the same paved-road rule as a small hatchback. Check the proper route before following a track your sat nav suggests.

Prepare before departure

Set the seat, mirrors and sat nav before you move off. Take a moment to get used to an unfamiliar gearbox.

Allow for changing conditions

Weather, traffic and roadworks can slow you down. Leave spare time, especially before a return appointment after an inland trip.

Keep the company reachable

Keep the company’s number with your voucher and your booking phone switched on. If something goes wrong with the car, tell the company straight away.

Fuel, parking and traffic fines are yours to pay. They are separate from the hire price and deposit, and your cover does not change the driving rules.

Can you return the car at an airport?

Some cars delivered in Agios Nikolaos can be returned at Heraklion Airport or Chania Airport. Choose your return place when you search.

Heraklion return

Choose Heraklion Airport as your return place if you fly from Heraklion. Check the full price and leave time for the car check.

Chania return

Choose Chania Airport if you fly from Chania. Allow for the longer drive west and confirm the exact return point with the company before you travel.

Agree any changes

Ask the company before changing your return time or place, and check the new price. Never leave the car somewhere else.

Heraklion town delivery is not the same as airport pickup, so choose the service you need. For your return, plan the drive from your accommodation with time for unloading, the car check and your flight.

Agios Nikolaos prices across the rental calendar

Each bar is the lowest day rate for a seven-day hire starting on the fifteenth, from November 2026. Your car, extras and times set your final price.

Months with no price show N/A.

Prices include town delivery and are a guide only. A car may not be available in every month, so search your own dates.

Even a few hours are charged as a full day of twenty-four hours, and going into another part day adds another day. Enter your real pickup and return times.

To keep the car longer, tell the company before your hire ends and agree the new return time and price.

Passengers, equipment and shared driving

Choose the gearbox, space and extras before delivery. The featured cars offer child seats and a second driver; your booking shows what costs extra.

Choose the transmission

The six example cars are all manual. Look at the gearbox on your car, and only book it if every driver can handle it.

Request child equipment

Book a baby seat, child seat or booster when you reserve. Check it is there and fitted properly before you drive away.

Add another driver

Add every extra driver to the booking before they drive. Each one must meet the car’s age and licence experience rules.

Check space with bags

Count people, cases and equipment together. The number of seats does not tell you how much boot space is left once everyone is in.

Protection on the selected Agios Nikolaos cars

These six cars come with Full Coverage, no deposit and no excess. The usual rental rules and exclusions still apply.

Minimum coverageIncluded as standard
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Damage to your hire car (not included)
Basic coverage
  • Limited collision cover (CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Glass and tyre damage (not included)
Full Coverage
  • Limited driver liability (Super CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
Full Coverage Plus
  • Full damage cover (included)
  • No driver liability for accident damage (included)

Check the options. These cars offer Full Coverage but not Full Coverage Plus. Not every car offers every level.

Deposit and excess. Two different sums: the deposit holds the booking, and the excess is your share of any damage. Look at both once you pick a cover level.

What is not covered. Standard cover excludes the cabin, windscreen, wheels and underside. Deliberate damage, neglect, vandalism and unpaved roads cancel your cover.

Report any incident. Ring the company at once and get a police report, unless it agrees you need not. Skip these steps and the loss is yours.

Your own quote shows the cover levels on offer. The company looks after the car; cancellations and refunds go through customer support.

Which documents should you prepare?

Bring your original driving licence, valid until your last booked day. Copies and digital licences are not accepted.

Licence and permit

Bring an International Driving Permit (IDP) with your national licence; it is recommended. The company can refuse the handover if documents are missing.

Driver eligibility

Check the minimum age and licence experience for your car. Similar cars can differ, and the company can refuse a driver who does not qualify.

Fuel and condition at the final meeting

Leave time to refuel, clear out your things and let the company check the car, even when it is collected from your hotel.

Match the fuel record

  • Bring the fuel back to where it was at pickup. The company charges its rate for a shortfall and does not refund extra.

Allow a clear inspection

  • If the car is too dirty to inspect, you pay for cleaning. Make sure it can be checked before the company arrives to collect it.

Agree any change to your return with the company first; a later flight does not change a Crete booking by itself.

Ferry arrangements and the national boundary

The car must stay in Greece. A ferry to another island or the mainland needs customer support’s agreement before you book.

Returning at an airport has nothing to do with ferries. If your trip includes a crossing, arrange it before paying; no cover level allows it on its own.

Changing plans before collection

Check your cancellation deadline before you change plans. It depends on the car type and whether your booking has a short-notice option.

Meet the notice deadline

Standard cars need a week’s notice; luxury cars and convertibles need thirty days. A short-notice option allows twenty-four hours. Cancel late or miss pickup and you lose the advance.

Request an eligible refund

Send the cancellation and your voucher to support by email. The refund comes within fourteen days, less six per cent of the advance for processing.

A new car or new dates means cancelling and booking again. To extend after pickup, ask the company before your return time and get it confirmed.
