Fly into Tivat or Podgorica, or start in a coastal town. Pickup charges depend on the car and are in its quoted total.
TivatTivat Airport, delivery to your address or the bus terminal. The car you pick decides which handovers it offers.
PodgoricaPodgorica Airport, delivery in town, or pickup at Hotel Hilton or Big Fashion mall, depending on the car.
KotorDelivery to your Kotor accommodation or pickup at the bus terminal, both with cars you can pay without credit.
BudvaDelivery for your Budva stay, or pickup at Hotel Tre Canne or the bus terminal. Payment terms vary by car.The Montenegro advance is 15 to 20% of the car’s cost, without airport or address handover fees. Those and the rest are paid at pickup.
Some delivered cars, and some in Podgorica, want the remaining hire in cash. Check balance rules apart from deposit rules.
Debit must be clearly accepted in voucher and booking. Bring the lead driver’s own embossed card in person; no one else’s card, no digital version.
How you pay does not make a car cheaper or dearer. Compare full trip prices, with your pickup choice and extras included.
A car with no credit rule may still want a cash deposit, small or large. Bring your car’s amount, apart from the hire.
Some cars, including at Tivat Airport, take the deposit by debit. Read the return terms and ask the company how repayment works before pickup.
Weigh the cover and the damage share it leaves, next to the money needed at pickup.
Contact your Montenegro rental agent straight after an insured incident and get police documentation, unless the agent allows otherwise. Without it the insurance is cancelled and the repair bill is yours.
Some cars at Tivat and Podgorica airports need credit for the deposit and a card for the balance. Others there do not; read each listing.
If a Montenegro car requires credit, the main driver shows a personally owned embossed credit card at handover. The online advance does not replace it.
Enter pickup and return places, dates and times. Add your licence years and age to match each car’s rules.
Apply the No credit card filter to drop cars that need credit. Open one and compare extras before you book.
The confirmation email gives the rental company’s contacts. Keep it for questions about the car or the pickup.
A no-card car settles how you can pay. A Montenegro company may still hold a deposit, so money can be tied up.
A zero-deposit car is about money set aside at handover. Some Montenegro cars offer both, so check each rule.
The licence itself, valid for all booked dates and in Latin script; copies and electronic versions do not qualify. If it only allows driving at home, an IDP is strongly recommended in case it is asked for.
Yes. Night pickup or return at either airport can carry a charge, and some cars cannot be handed over at night. Enter both times; a charge may apply at only one end.
Ordinary cars: seven days ahead. Luxury models or convertibles: thirty. The cancellation option makes it twenty-four hours for all. Later changes, later cancellations and unarranged no-shows forfeit the advance. Montenegro refunds take fourteen days, less six euros per hundred.
No. Paying another way gives no right to cross borders. Choose a car with a package for your route and tell the company first so it can prepare the papers.
Yes, some cars have limited mileage and others unlimited. Check the allowance on your booking before a long drive; payment does not decide it.
Choose where to pick up, compare how you can pay, then book the car and cover for your trip.
