Every Side rental is delivered to an address you give; there is no airport or office pickup in Side itself.
Type the full address of your Side hotel, apartment or villa while booking. The company brings the car there at the time you choose.
Antalya Airport is about an hour west of Side. To start your rental there, use the Antalya search for an airport handover.
Walk round the car with the driver who brings it, photograph any marks and note the fuel level before you set off.
Landing at Antalya? The same companies hand cars over at the airport, often for less than delivery to Side, so price both.

Deposit and card are separate. A car may hold no deposit yet still want a credit card shown at the door. Another may need no card but hold a deposit. Read both rules.
Balance at the door. You pay the rest of the rental, delivery included, to the driver or company when the car arrives. The accepted ways to pay differ by car.
Selected cars offer car hire in Turkey with no deposit, and on some others the deposit only falls to zero at the top cover level.
Without a credit card you still have options: some cars in Turkey that need no credit card take the deposit in cash or on a debit card.

The renter pays for fuel, parking, fines and toll roads. Tolls are taken from the deposit once the company learns of them.
Traffic keeps right on the coast road. A few rules matter on the main road and at the turn-offs to the resorts.
Seat belts must be worn in all seats, and children travel in a child restraint. Book the right seat with the car if you are not bringing one.
Coming out of a side road onto the D400 or any divided road, you give way to the traffic already on it, whichever direction it comes from.
Where two equal roads meet with no signs or lights, give way to the vehicle coming from your right. Signs, where present, decide instead.

A Side car can be handed back in Antalya, Alanya or Dalaman. Set the return town in the search and its charge is already in each price.
Driving a Turkish rental across a border is not allowed, and no extra or one-way to a neighbouring country changes that.

Starting prices peak in July and are lowest in January and February. N/A marks months with no cars listed yet, so search again nearer the date.
Side companies offer manual and automatic cars, and vans with seven to nine seats. Choose these before the extras.
Most Side cars are automatics, though manuals are offered too. The gearbox printed on the offer is what you get, whatever the photo shows.
Seven, eight and nine-seat vehicles can be delivered to Side. With every seat taken, check there is still space for the luggage.
Some cars take a baby seat, child seat or booster. Choose one per child and look for each on the voucher.
Add a second driver where the car offers it. They must also meet that car’s minimum age and years with a licence.
The lowest level, Minimum, is third-party cover. Above it, the levels each car offers, and their prices, differ.
Outside standard cover. Damage to the wheels, underbody, windscreen or interior is not covered as standard, and deliberate damage, through vandalism or neglect, voids the insurance.
Two higher levels. Full Coverage adds Super CDW, though the excess may stay as it was. Full Coverage Plus, on cars that have it, can cut the excess to zero.
The deposit can change. Choosing a higher level lowers the deposit on some cars and leaves it the same on others. Compare on the offer.
After an accident. Phone the company at once and ask the police for a report, unless the company tells you not to; skip it and the insurance is cancelled.
Before paying, your offer sets out what the excess covers at each level for that car.
An original licence, the booking voucher and the payment the car lists. Have them ready when the car arrives.
Your full national licence in Latin letters, valid until the car goes back. A photocopy or a digital licence will not be accepted at the door.
Carry an International Driving Permit if your licence is only valid at home. Each car shows its own minimum age and licence years.
UK licence holders: the UK government asks for a 1968 International Driving Permit or a UK licence notarised in Turkish. The permit can only be bought in the UK, so get it before you fly.
Both apply to every car, wherever it is delivered.
Up to seven days before delivery for ordinary cars and thirty for luxury cars or convertibles. Bookings with the free-cancellation option can be cancelled up to 24 hours before.
Email the voucher to cancel in time; the advance is paid back within two weeks of your request, less 6% for the payment. Cancel later, or miss the handover without warning, and it is lost.
Any rental is charged in full days of 24 hours. A few hours still count as one day, so enter real times to see the total.
Ask the company before the rental ends, as an extension needs advance notice. Use the contact details from your confirmation email.
Questions about the car’s condition or the service go to the rental company, whose details come by email once you book.
A substitute of the same class or better must be delivered to you, with no change to price or terms.
Only small pets, and only inside a travel carrier for the whole trip.
Give your Side address, compare the deposit and cover, and book a car for your stay.
