Car rental in Turkey without a deposit

No-deposit car hire in Turkey at the main airports, at an office or by delivery, with cover levels and the full price shown before you book.

No-deposit car rental offers

Choose your Turkish starting point

Companies differ on airport and town pickups. Check the pickup place in the quote; not every car listed for a city uses its airport.

The hire still needs paying

Advance reservation

Turkish bookings charge 15 to 20% up front online. That pays for the car, not a deposit; zero deposit is not zero upfront.

Handover payment

Pay the rest of the hire to the company at pickup, by the methods your offer names. Some Turkish quotes take cash only; others take cards too.

Collection charges

Bringing the car to your handover point, airports included, may cost extra and is in the trip total. The advance leaves delivery out.

Your actual schedule

Enter both handover times for a Turkish quote. A night handover can limit cars or add a charge, even with no deposit.

What nothing held really means

Nothing held

On a zero-deposit offer the company takes no deposit against the car. That says nothing about damage costs or other charges.

The final quotation

Recheck the deposit after picking cover and extras. Results show the starting cover, and changing level can change the deposit on some cars.

Turkish car hire insurance choices

A deposit is money the company holds; an excess is what you pay towards covered damage. One can be zero while the other is not.

Minimum coverageIncluded as standard
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Damage to your hire car (not included)
Basic coverage
  • Limited collision cover (CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Glass and tyre damage (not included)
Full Coverage
  • Limited driver liability (Super CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
Full Coverage Plus
  • Full damage cover (included)
  • No driver liability for accident damage (included)
  • Minimum cover is standard; Basic adds CDW, capping covered collision costs. Turkish standard insurance leaves out interior, underside, wheels and windscreen.
  • Full Coverage brings Super CDW, cutting the excess by several hundred euros on some cars and not on others. Some Antalya cars keep the deposit on lower levels.
  • Full Coverage Plus is priced per car and leaves no accident damage to pay. On some Antalya cars it also removes the deposit; some Bodrum cars lack it.
  • Negligence, vandalism or deliberate damage end the cover. Follow the road limits and reporting duties; extra cover never cancels them.
Reporting an accident

If an insured event happens, tell the company immediately. You need police paperwork unless the company arranges otherwise; without it, cover ends and the driver pays.

When a deposit still applies

Cars with a deposit

Turkish searches also show cars with a deposit. A low-deposit label can mean a real sum, and cash or card rules vary; read the amount.

Upgrade limits

More cover will not always clear the deposit. Some Turkish cars lack the top level; others still hold it at middle levels. Compare full quotes.

How to narrow your search

  1. Set collection details

Choose your Turkish pickup town and handover point, then the return date and time. Add the driver’s age plus licence history.

  2. Filter for no deposit

Apply No deposit and open the cars that suit you. Confirm the cover level and resulting deposit before going on.

  3. Save your agreement

Read the full conditions and keep the confirmation email; it has the company’s details for pickup and car questions.

A credit card is a separate condition

No deposit

A zero-deposit Turkish car can still require a credit card, as some at Antalya Airport do. The main driver then needs an embossed credit card, in person.

No credit requirement

No credit card is about collection, not the deposit, which may still be cash or debit where allowed. Choose it when the card matters more.

Common questions before you book

Can I rent an automatic car in Turkey with no deposit?

Yes, in Antalya, Istanbul, Dalaman and Bodrum. Pick the gearbox along with the deposit filter; neither guarantees a particular model. In Istanbul, both Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen have cars with no deposit.

Who pays for tolls on a car with no deposit?

You do, plus toll admin costs. Tolls usually come out of a deposit, so with none held, ask how later tolls are collected. Fuel, parking and fines are also on you.

Can a short hire be extended during the trip?

Yes, if agreed with the company before your return time. Even a short hire costs a twenty-four-hour day, and entering the next day adds a full day.

Which roads can I drive a no-deposit hire car on?

Paved public roads inside Turkey only; border crossings are not allowed. Zero deposit changes the money held, not where you can drive.

Do I need to keep my phone on during the rental?

Yes. Use the international code and keep the phone on from the day before pickup to the last day, so the company can reach you about the handover.
