Car rental in Turkey with no credit card

Rent a car in Turkey and pay with cash or a debit card where accepted, at the airport, an office or by delivery, with the deposit shown per car.

Car hire deals with no credit card

Where will you collect?

Match your flight or hotel to a handover point. An airport listing does not promise a desk in the terminal; the company confirms.

Paying the advance and the balance

Booking advance

Turkish bookings need a 15 to 20% online payment, credited to your hire. A car without a credit rule still needs this upfront.

Pickup balance

Pay the remaining balance to your Turkish company at pickup. Some Antalya cars take cash only; others cash or card. Check your booking.

Debit cards

Debit needs clear approval in voucher and booking. The physical card must be the main driver’s, embossed. Cash for the rent does not allow debit.

Delivery charges

A handover charge can sit in a Turkish quote, but the advance is worked out on rent alone. Compare pickup and return on similar offers.

A deposit can still apply

Cash deposits

Flexible payment in Turkey does not mean no deposit. Some cars, including in Bodrum, take a cash deposit; check it apart from the balance.

Each car’s own rules

Your car states the deposit amount and methods; ask how it is released. Low deposit is not zero; use No deposit for nothing held.

Insurance for your Turkish hire car

Choose cover by the damage share you keep, whatever you pay with. Minimum cover is included as standard.

Minimum coverageIncluded as standard
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Damage to your hire car (not included)
Basic coverage
  • Limited collision cover (CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
  • Glass and tyre damage (not included)
Full Coverage
  • Limited driver liability (Super CDW) (included)
  • Damage to other vehicles (TPL) (included)
Full Coverage Plus
  • Full damage cover (included)
  • No driver liability for accident damage (included)
  • With Basic CDW, the car’s excess caps what a covered collision costs you. Underbody, interior, wheels and windscreen are left out as standard in Turkey.
  • Full Coverage uses Super CDW, which may reduce your excess by several hundred euros, or not at all. Deposit and damage share differ, even with equal figures.
  • Where available, Full Coverage Plus removes the driver’s accident share at a car-specific price. Some Bodrum cars lack it; on others it waives the deposit.
  • Deliberate vandalism or careless damage voids the cover. Keep Turkish rentals on public paved roads and inside the country, whatever cover you buy.
After an insured incident

Tell the rental company at once and arrange a police report; only the company can agree otherwise. Skip a step and the insurance is cancelled; the damage is on you.

When a physical card is still needed

In the main driver’s name

Some Turkish rentals require a credit card: the main driver brings a physical card with their embossed name, even if another method pays the balance.

At the airports

Cars that need a credit card sit beside cars that do not. Some Sabiha Gökçen cars hold the deposit on one; some Antalya cars need one with no deposit.

Finding the right car in three steps

  1. Enter your itinerary

Pick the Turkish town, exact pickup point and return times. Say how old the collecting driver is and how long they have been licensed.

  2. Filter the results

Select No credit card, then look inside a car’s listing. Check payment, deposit and cover together before accepting the quote.

  3. Keep the voucher

Keep the booking email. The voucher gives the meeting point and the company’s phone number for pickup.

Deposit rules are a separate question

No credit card

This removes the need to show a credit card. A deposit can still apply, and cash or debit rules vary by car; check yours.

No deposit

A deposit is money held, not the card you show. Some Turkish cars hold no deposit but still need a credit card.

Questions before travelling to Turkey

Which licence should I bring for collection?

Your original national licence, printed in Latin letters and valid past the last booked day; copies and digital versions are refused. For a home-only licence, carry an International Driving Permit; Turkey’s terms strongly recommend it.

Is there one minimum driver age for these offers?

No. Age and experience limits are set per offer, even for similar models. Give accurate details; the company can turn away a driver who does not qualify.

When can I cancel a Turkish reservation?

Seven days for ordinary bookings and thirty for convertibles or luxury cars; the cancellation option allows twenty-four hours. No-shows, late changes and late cancellations lose the advance. Turkish refunds come within fourteen days, minus 6%.

Can I drive a Turkish hire car into another country?

No. The car must stay inside Turkey; border crossings are banned, and no other permission or cover changes that. From Bodrum, a trip to a Greek island means leaving the car behind.

What costs can remain when returning the vehicle?

Tolls, fuel, parking and fines all fall to you. Replace the fuel used; a shortfall is billed at the company’s tariff, surplus is not refunded. A car too dirty to inspect costs a wash. Ask how later tolls are settled.
