Deposits and cover vary from car to car, under one set of rental conditions for all of Morocco.
Nearly every Fez offer is delivered to an address; the airport list is short. Pick whichever matches where your trip begins.
Enter the riad, hotel or flat address when booking and the company brings the car. A delivery charge is often part of the price.
The airport is about 25 minutes from the medina. A few cars there have no handover charge; check the price for yours.
A small number of cars list a different handover point in Fez. The voucher gives the exact meeting place, so read it before the day.
Delivery suits a trip that starts after a few days in the medina without a car. The voucher gives the meeting point and the company’s phone number.
The phone on your booking, country code included, should stay switched on from the day before pickup to the end of the rental.
Only a few Fez cars ask for a credit card, and most have no deposit. Check the payment lines on the car you choose.
Whatever is left after the advance goes to the company on the day, using the methods that car accepts. Zero deposit and cash payment do not always go together.
Elsewhere in Morocco, too, most cars need no credit card.
For no hold at all, pick one of the cars with no deposit.
Meknes is about an hour west and Volubilis about an hour and a half. The cards cover the longer drives.

Closer to Fez: Meknes, about 60 min; Volubilis, about 1 h 30 min; Ifrane, about 1 h 15 min.
Meknes and Volubilis share the first part of the route, the A2 west, so they fit into one day. Ifrane is south on the RN8.
Marrakech is a full day at the wheel, so think about breaking the journey.
The A2 motorway west to Meknes and Rabat is tolled. Payment is taken at the toll lanes along the way.
Ifrane is reached on the RN8 and Chefchaouen on national and regional roads, so expect slower driving than on the motorway.
The car may only be driven on paved public roads. Gravel and dirt tracks are not allowed, even in a four-wheel-drive.
UK travel advice says mountain roads can be hazardous in bad weather and poor lighting can make night driving dangerous. Keep hill drives for daylight.
UK travel advice gives 190 for the police and 150 for an ambulance or the fire service. On the motorway, ADM’s breakdown number is 5050.
After an accident covered by the insurance, call the company and get a police report, unless told otherwise. Leave either out and cover can be void.
A car hired in Fez must stay inside Morocco; crossing any border is not allowed, and there is no cross-border option to buy.
Yes, and Rabat or Casablanca work too. Set the return city in the search; the drop-off charge, where there is one, is in the price.

A few cars on each route add no drop-off charge at all.
Fixing a one-way return before you travel is simpler than changing it later; any change needs the company’s agreement.
Every bar uses week-long hires that start on the 15th of the month. Any delivery or handover charge is included.
Fez rentals of seven days from the 15th, November 2026 to October 2027. Current prices depend on your dates.
From May, only a handful of cars carry prices, so those bars rest on a small choice. Look at your own dates nearer the time.
A rental day is 24 hours; going over by a few hours costs a full extra day.
Automatics are more common than manuals in Fez. Read the gearbox line on the offer before you book rather than going by the model.
Some seven- and eight-seat cars are offered for larger families. Check seats and boot space on the actual offer, not the class name.
Infant seats, child seats and boosters are on Morocco’s extras list; the offer shows which the car has. Book the size your child needs.
Where a car offers it, a second driver can be added as an extra, priced on the offer. They need to meet the same age and licence rules.
Not every car offers every cover level, and the deposit can change with the level. Look at both together.
Pick from what the car offers. The four levels run from Minimum to Full Coverage Plus; each car lists the ones available on it.
Parts standard cover skips. Standard insurance does not pay for damage to the wheels, the car’s underside, the windscreen or the interior.
Voided by misuse. Deliberate damage through vandalism or neglect cancels the insurance at every level.
Extras on the list. Morocco’s extras list includes personal accident insurance and theft protection.
Moving up the cover levels can lower the excess, the deposit or neither, so compare them on the car.
Bring the actual licence issued at home, written in Latin script and valid until at least the return date; no copies or digital versions.
With a licence that is only valid at home, an International Driving Permit is strongly advised; UK travel advice says UK licence holders need the 1968 permit.
Each Fez offer names its own minimum age and licence years, and these differ between similar models. A driver who misses them can be turned away.
Have your passport and voucher ready for the paperwork at the handover.
Extending the rental means asking the company in advance, before the end of the booking.
You cannot edit a confirmed booking. Cancel it and book again, inside the deadline for your car.
Everyday cars: a week ahead of delivery. Luxury cars and convertibles: 30 days. Short-notice option: one day. Cancelling later than that, or not turning up, costs you the advance.
Write to customer support and attach the voucher. The money is returned within fourteen days, keeping back 6% of the advance as a payment charge.
Delivery goes to the address you enter. Leave your booking phone on so the company can get in touch; the voucher gives the meeting point.
On most cars, yes. A minority have a daily kilometre limit, which the offer shows together with the charge for going over.
If a breakdown or another event beyond the company’s control stops it, you get a replacement of the same class or better, for the price and terms already agreed.
Yes, within 24 hours of confirmation and payment, provided you give notice before pickup. The advance is refunded minus the payment charge.
Only small pets are allowed, and they must travel in a carrier the whole time.
Have the car brought to your address or collect at the airport; read the deposit and cover lines before paying.
