Eleftheria Square is 50.7 kilometres from Larnaca Airport, about forty-five minutes on clear roads. All times start at Larnaca Airport, before traffic and pickup.
From Paphos Airport, Nicosia is 141.1 kilometres, around two hours. Compare that with Larnaca Airport before deciding to start at an airport or in the city. Larnaca’s seafront is about 15 minutes from that airport, and car hire in Larnaca offers delivery.
The square is a city reference, not your hotel. Confirm your delivery address and plan the last stretch without entering Northern Cyprus, which is not allowed.
Keep the car within the permitted area. Check your address with the company; a sat nav route is not permission to cross north.
Stay on paved public roads. Avakas Gorge, Akamas Reserve, Blue Lagoon, Lara Bay turtle beach, Baths of Adonis waterfall and Kavo Gkreko National Park are off limits, along with every road leading to them, whatever car or cover you have.
You cannot wait or park on double yellow lines, and single yellow lines are for loading and unloading. No parking space comes with delivery, so agree one with your property.
Keep left in Cyprus and get to know the car while parked. Right-hand steering is usual, but check yours.
Check the gearbox and driving position with every approved driver. A manual and an automatic need different preparation, even if they look similar.
Expect 50 km/h in built-up areas and 80 km/h on other roads; motorways run from 65 to 100 km/h. A posted sign always wins.
Wear seat belts and use the right child seats. Check the seats you agreed at handover before your first drive.
In an emergency, ring 112. Any insured incident goes to your rental agent straight away, with a police report unless you are told it is not needed.
Some cars allow city delivery with a return at Larnaca Airport or Paphos Airport. Each needs its own quote; a town return does not cover an airport.

Each bar is the lowest day rate for a seven-day hire with city delivery at both ends. Delivery charges are already included.
Enter your exact times as well as dates. The minimum charge is one twenty-four-hour day, and any part of a further day counts as a full day. Changing extras, cover or return place can change the price.
Choose a car for everyone travelling and their bags. Confirm what you need before the delivery.
All six cars have five seats, but boot space varies. Check the luggage room with everyone seated.
Book the right child seats and check them when the car arrives. Seat count alone does not give a child the seat they need.
Add a second driver to the agreement before they drive. They must meet the car’s age and licence experience rules.
A small pet can travel in its carrier. Keep it inside on every trip and check the carrier fits with the luggage.
Some cars start with TPL and others include CDW. None of these offers Plus, and Full upgrades work differently on each.
Some upgrades lower both figures. On some cars, paid Basic and then paid Full cut the deposit and contribution, but neither reaches zero.
Some upgrades change nothing. On some cars, paid Full keeps the same deposit and damage contribution as the starting level.
Full may keep the deposit. On some cars with Basic included, paid Full removes the damage contribution but keeps the deposit.
No deposit is not full cover. Some zero-deposit cars keep a damage contribution under both Basic and paid Full.
Minimum TPL gives no cover for damage to the hire car. Standard cover excludes wheels, underbody, cabin and windscreen, and neglect or deliberate vandalism voids it. No level lifts the road limits or the Northern Cyprus ban.
Only your original national licence will do: Latin script, in date for the whole hire. No copies or digital versions.
If your licence only works in your home country, you are strongly advised to add an IDP. Bring both originals.
Check the age and years licensed needed for your car, for everyone who will drive.
Drivers with a UK photocard licence can drive in Cyprus as it is. A paper-only UK licence may need updating or an IDP.
Keep your delivery record handy for the fuel and condition check at return.
Fuel, parking and fines are your cost. Ask the agent for more time before your return is due.
You cannot take this car into Northern Cyprus. Nicosia is a divided city, and the rule applies on every route out of it.
Keep your delivery address and every trip inside the permitted area. An airport return, more cover or the city name in your search does not change these Cyprus driving limits.
New dates or a different car means cancelling and booking again.
A normal booking can be cancelled up to seven days ahead, a convertible or luxury car up to thirty, and some bookings up to twenty-four hours. Cancel later, or skip pickup without agreement, and the advance is gone.
Cancel through support and send your voucher. Any refund of the advance can take up to fourteen days after you ask, less 6% of the advance for processing.
