Required cover may be additionalPort and address handovers can cost different amounts. The six cars show full prices; size prices can leave out required cover. Check whether a similar car may be supplied.
Most example cars use address delivery; some meet you at Padangbai Port. Check where your chosen car is handed over.
Give the company your full address and agree a time. Choosing Padangbai does not tell it where you stay.
Choose Padangbai Port where offered and get the exact meeting instructions. A port pickup does not allow a ferry trip.
Padangbai harbour is 55.4 kilometres from Bali Airport pickup, about fifty minutes before traffic and airport time.
Picking up after a flight? Compare Bali Airport pickup. The harbour drive time is timed to the road, not to a ferry gate or hotel.
Prepare payment for your port or address booking. A car with no credit card requirement still has a deposit and a balance to pay.
Booking payment. Booking costs fifteen to twenty percent upfront; the company takes the rest at pickup. Ask which currency and payment method it uses.
Card conditions. A credit card, if asked for, must be the main driver’s own and embossed, and you bring it yourself. Debit cards need the same, plus approval on the voucher and booking.
Drives start at the Padangbai harbour road, on clear roads, without traffic, parking, stops or ceremony closures.

Ubud is timed to Puri Saren Agung and Denpasar to Puputan Badung square. Sanur, Canggu and Jimbaran are areas, so your hotel may be further. Leave extra time before a return or flight.
Tolls, fuel, parking and fines are yours to pay. The delivery or port charge does not cover them.
Bali Mandara information covers the road between Nusa Dua, Benoa and Ngurah Rai. Most Padangbai trips may not use it, so check your route.
Drive on the left, follow speed limits and stay on paved public roads, whatever the car.
Drive times start from one point on the harbour road. Check your own address or port meeting point before using them.
Several southern roads, including Bypass Ngurah Rai, are known for heavy traffic. Clear-road times cannot promise how long it will take.
From about October to March it is the rainy season, when local floods can bring heavy traffic. Check conditions before a tightly timed trip.
Check Nyepi dates before booking. The airport closes and normal travel stops on the day.
Where you can return depends on whether your car starts at an address or the port. Check both places on the offer.

Cars starting with address delivery can be returned at a Denpasar address or at Bali Airport. Port cars may not offer the same returns, so check the exact pair and the full price.
Each bar is a seven-night rental from the 15th, including handover. Required cover may still need adding to get the full price.
N/A means no price was available; it never means a free rental.
Check the seat count before adding extras. Bali cars seat up to seven; there is no nine-seat minibus here.
Choose enough seats for everyone. A similar car may turn up, and the photo does not promise the same layout.
Tell the company about passengers and luggage together. Fill all seven seats and there is less room for bags.
Add the extra driver option if someone else will drive, and check their licence and experience qualify.
Choose a booster or child seat and check the cost when booking. Make sure it is there at pickup.
Compare what is excluded and what you would pay for damage, not just the cover name. Full Coverage can still leave an excess.
Standard cover excludes the interior, wheels, windscreen and underside. Check whether your cover adds them; an upgrade does not cover everything.
If you have an accident, contact the company immediately and get a police report unless told otherwise. If not, your cover falls away and the full bill is yours.
Neglect and vandalism are never covered, and no level of cover lets you use banned roads or take the car off Bali.
You need the original national licence, written in Latin script and valid through to the end of the rental. Copies and digital versions do not count.
If your licence is valid at home only, an IDP is advised. British licence holders need the 1968 international permit in Indonesia.
Compare your age and years of driving with the car’s rules before you pay; if you fall short, pickup can be refused. Carry the car’s registration.
You pay for at least 24 hours, and part of another day costs a full day. Arrange extra time before your rental ends.
A port pickup does not let the car leave Bali. The island rule still applies when you go on by ferry.
Padangbai Port is just a handover point. The ferry to Lombok or the Gili Islands takes you, not the car.
Book the port or your Padangbai address as the return, before your boat. There is no sea-crossing extra.
Check the notice you need before paying, and whether the cancellation option applies. Luxury cars and convertibles need longer.
Cancel a week or more ahead, or thirty days ahead for luxury cars and convertibles; with the cancellation option, one day is enough. Leave it later, or miss pickup, and you lose the advance.
Send your voucher by email to cancel. You get the money back within fourteen days, less six percent for payment fees. Changes mean cancelling and rebooking.
One of the six examples meets at Padangbai Port; the others use address delivery. Check your car’s meeting details with the company.
No. The car must stay on Bali, even with a port pickup. Use other transport for the next island.
Not necessarily. Denpasar address returns are offered on cars starting with address delivery. Check the exact pickup and return pair for your car.
Yes, some cars that start with address delivery offer a Bali Airport return. Pick the airport by name and look at the price.
The 55.4 kilometres from Bali Airport pickup to Padangbai’s harbour road. Fifty minutes is the clear-road time, before airport time, traffic and the handover.
Choose Padangbai delivery or port pickup, check the full price, and agree a return place before you book.
