Not always. A car with no deposit can come with Full and still leave you a damage contribution; only paid Plus clears it.
If the car asks for a credit card, bring the main driver’s own physical, embossed card. Debit cards need the same, and both the booking and voucher must accept them.
The upfront payment is 15 to 20% of the rental. Delivery can raise the full price without counting towards that share.
Polis is 50.8 kilometres from Paphos Airport, about an hour, and Latchi 55 kilometres, around seventy-five minutes. The cards show other drives from Paphos Airport.
From Larnaca Airport, allow 150 minutes to either town: Polis is 163.8 kilometres and Latchi 168 kilometres. Add time for the airport, traffic and the last streets.
The Polis time ends in town and the Latchi time near the harbour, not at your door. Staying in Coral Bay? Book that delivery instead.
Akamas Reserve and its access roads are off limits. Staying nearby, choosing an SUV or buying more cover does not change that.
Baths of Adonis waterfall, Blue Lagoon, Avakas Gorge, Kavo Gkreko National Park and Lara Bay turtle beach are off limits too, with their access roads. Everywhere else, stay on paved public roads.
Agree parking with your property, as delivery does not include it. Single yellow lines are for loading and unloading; on double yellow lines you may not wait or park.
Keep left in Cyprus. Right-hand steering is usual, but check the controls and gearbox of your car while it is parked.
Make sure every approved driver knows the car before setting off. Even with an automatic, the driving position may feel new.
Plan on 50 km/h through towns, 80 km/h elsewhere and 65 to 100 km/h on motorways, unless a sign says otherwise.
Seat belts for all and proper child seats for children. Look over any seats you ordered when the car is delivered.

These daily prices include delivery. The minimum charge is one twenty-four-hour day, and any further day started is charged in full. Enter your real meeting times when you search.
All the cars shown seat five, but luggage space differs. Check the car suits your group before delivery.
Check the boot with all the seats you need in use. Large bags or equipment may need a bigger car.
Book the right child seats and check them at the handover. Children need the correct seat even on the shortest first trip.
Add the second driver to your agreement before they drive. Their age and licence experience must meet the car’s rules.
Pets are fine if small and in a carrier for each journey. Make sure the carrier fits in the cabin or boot.
Most of these cars begin at TPL, with no cover for damage to the hire car. A few include Full and still keep a damage contribution.
Plus can clear both figures. With paid Full, some cars still hold a deposit and damage contribution; with paid Plus, both go.
Some cars stop at Basic. There is no Full or Plus, so even with paid CDW you keep a deposit and contribution.
Some upgrades change nothing. A few cars keep an identical deposit and contribution through paid Basic and Full, and offer no Plus.
No deposit is not full cover. Full on a zero-deposit car can still leave a damage contribution; paying for Plus removes it while the deposit stays at zero.
Windscreen, cabin, wheels and underbody fall outside standard cover, and neglect or deliberate vandalism cancels it. Akamas, the other banned roads and Northern Cyprus stay off limits at every level.
Bring the original national licence, written in Latin script and valid until the car is returned. Copies or digital versions do not count.
An IDP is strongly advised when your licence is only valid at home, but it goes with the original licence, not instead of it.
Check the age and driving experience rules on your Polis car, including for any extra driver.
You can drive in Cyprus on a UK photocard licence. An old paper-only one may need updating or an IDP.
At the Polis return, the company checks the fuel and condition.
Budget for parking, fuel and fines yourself. Agree any extension with the agent in advance.
You cannot take this car into Northern Cyprus, whichever road you take from Polis.
Local delivery or an airport return does not change the rules on where you can drive in Cyprus.

Most bookings need seven days’ notice, convertibles and luxury cars thirty, and a few just twenty-four hours. Late cancelling, or missing the meeting without agreement, means losing the advance.
Send support your cancellation request with your voucher. An eligible advance is refunded within fourteen days of your request, less 6% of the advance for processing.
