For Ganja pickup, Baku cars are delivered for an extra charge, airport handovers included.
Booking takes 15 to 20% online. Delivery charges sit outside that advance and are paid when you pick up the car.
Cash paid to Azerbaijani companies must be in manat (AZN). Check your car’s payment options and bring local currency for the balance.
Debit has to be accepted in the booking and the voucher. Bring the main driver’s physical, embossed debit card; a phone wallet will not do.
Companies here price in US dollars and the euro figures are conversions, so they can move with exchange rates when the dollar price does not.
Some Baku cars take cards for the hire but the deposit in cash only. Read both payment lists before you pick.
Other Baku cars take the deposit by debit card as well as cash. This is set per offer, even for the same model.
Choose your cover separately from how you plan to pay.
Call the company straight away and get police papers, unless the company agrees otherwise. Skip this and the cover is void, leaving you to pay the full loss.
Azerbaijan’s rules let a company ask for a credit card, so check the requirement on the car you actually book.
Where credit is required, bring a physical embossed credit card at pickup in the main driver’s name. Another person’s card is refused.
Set pickup and return places and times. Enter the driver’s age and licence years, as the rules differ between cars.

Keep the booking email with the company’s contacts, and use them to arrange the handover directly.
How you pay is a separate question from the deposit: a cash or debit car may still hold money during the hire.
No deposit means nothing is held. Some cars in Azerbaijan offer both, and the hire is still paid.
Show your original national licence at pickup, in Latin letters and valid for the whole hire; no copies or digital versions. If it only works in your home country, an International Driving Permit is strongly recommended.
No. How you pay does not set the mileage. Baku has unlimited cars and cars with a limit; each car shows which, including the Baku cars delivered to Gabala and Ganja.
On some cars, yes: pickup or return outside the company’s hours can cost extra. Enter your real times so the price includes it.
Seven days’ notice for a standard car, thirty for luxury or convertibles, or twenty-four hours with the cancellation option. Late cancelling, late changes or an unagreed no-show lose the advance. Refunds arrive within fourteen days, minus 6%.
Give your number with the international code. You must be reachable from the day before pickup until the hire ends, so the company can reach you by call or message about the handover.
